Claire Dyson Racing

Claire began riding at the age of 2yrs old and has been successful riding winners in showing, show jumping, point-to-point and under national hunt rules.

Claire followed in her father, John's footsteps in to the exciting world of horse racing and gained invaluable experience with David Tatlow and Tony Carroll and boasts a 100% strike rate riding for Dick Baimbridge.

Claire rode several point-to-point winners whilst riding against Polly Curling and Alison Dare.

She was successfully granted a permit in 1995 and owned and trained several winners before gaining a dual trainer's license in August 2007. She is now fully committed and concentrated on building a successful racing yard.

Equine Water Treadmill

Froglands Stud Farm also boasts the excellent water treadmill. Horses in training with us will also benefit from regular sessions in our Water Treadmill.

The Water Treadmill improves fitness and strength and also aids in the treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries.

The water provides a degree of pressure and support around the limbs and the horse has to work harder against its resistance. This results in improved stride length, tightens core strength muscles and ligaments, improves suppleness through the back, develops top line and increases cardiovascular activity, strength and stamina. The cold water also provides a cooling and massaging effect on the limbs.

The treadmill training program is tailored to each individual horse needs and fitness levels and regular videos are taken so that the horses progress can be monitored.

We also offer Rehabilitation livery and walk in treadmill sessions.
