"A JOURNEY TO BE ENJOYED NOT ENDURED"

Froglands Stud Farm is based in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside. It is a purpose built racing yard constructed from a derelict farm. Sitting in the picturesque village of Cleeve Prior it is set in 150 acres and situated close to all of the Midlands Racecourses including Stratford, Warwick, Worcester and Cheltenham.

Claire Dyson herself a successful jockey winning several races runs the yard. Team Dyson are committed to training of both Flat and National Hunt Racehorses.

The facilities at Froglands are second to none. There is an equine water treadmill, Canter ring, Lunging pen, equine massage equipment, Zamar heat treatment, Equine Solarium and Claydon Horse walker to name but a few.

The farm also boasts a carpet 5 1/2 furlong uphill gallop and both flat and uphill grass gallops amongst its acreage.

From flat horses through stalls to national hunt horses jumping steeplechase fences and rehabilitation of the injured. Individual treatment and attention to detail is guaranteed at Froglands.

Cheat The Cheater is the latest of horses trained by Team Dyson who hit the headlines when winning at Warwick and becoming Jockey Richard Johnsons 200 winner for the season to the delight of The Pink Fizz Fillies.

Equine Water Treadmill

pageimage

Horses in training here at Froglands Stud Farm can also benefit from regular sessions in our Water Treadmill.

The Water Treadmill improves fitness and strength and also aids in the treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries.

The water provides a degree of pressure and support around the limbs and the horse has to work harder against its resistance. This results in improved stride length, tightens core strength muscles and ligaments, improves suppleness through the back, develops top line and increases cardiovascular activity, strength and stamina. The cold water also provides a cooling and massaging effect on the limbs.

The treadmill training program is tailored to each individual horse needs and fitness levels and regular videos are taken so that the horses progress can be monitored.
